In nature, mutualistic relationships are based on the premise that both (or multiple) parties derive a benefit from that relationship. In some ways it is possible to classify the coaching relationship as one of mutualistic nature. Why? The obvious reward of such a relationship for the coach is the financial reward, whilst the client receives the benefit of the coaching service. However – there are intrinsic rewards which are beneficial to both parties, and which make the coaching profession unique.
